Kernel Capital is pleased to announce that Jayne Brady has been awarded an MBE at a ceremony in Buckingham Palace. Jayne Brady MBE who lives in Belfast, was presented with the honour for services to economic development in Northern Ireland by Queen Elizabeth II.

Jayne played a major part in establishing Kernel Capital’s first investment fund in Northern Ireland in 2013, which to date has invested in 8 NI companies that cumulatively employ over 200 people. Jayne’s investment focus is growth stage, export focused companies in the ICT, Telecoms and Big Data sectors. Jayne's career has involved leadership positions with both multinationals and start-ups, across a variety of operational and executive roles. Prior to joining Kernel Capital Jayne spent six years with Intune Networks, as VP of Product Line Management, having previously held senior positions with Flextronics and Nortel. Jayne was Chairman of the Institute of Engineering and Technology in Northern Ireland (2013/2014) and holds a 1st Class Masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (M.Eng) from Queen's University Belfast, is a Fellow of the IET and the Institute of Directors.
